Hey loves! I want to stay fairly active and consistent with posting on my blog, so I want to share this old look from when I went shopping with my family over Christmas break. I also thought it was appropriate to share this look now since the weather is switching up a lot.
This was a simple and quick look I put together to stay comfortable and warm...but cute. My mom said this was an outfit you would see in the 90s and I was not mad about that. The 90s, as I have mentioned before, was the best decade for fashion and I am constantly inspired by style icons of that time. In this look, I style a grey, cropped sweater (which I purchased from Amazon for $8 and cut myself!) with high-waisted jeans from American Apparel. To maintain the simplicity of this outfit, I am wearing a pair of white Fila Disruptor IIs––I know, soooo basic but dad sneakers are in and some people need to just let them be.
Lastly, I accessorize with a pair of sunglasses, earrings, and a holographic fanny pack that I found at a beauty supply store in the city. I highly recommend checking out the jewelry and other accessories that beauty supply stores offer because you may find something worth buying at an amazing price (I only spent $9 on the bag!). How have you been staying comfortable yet stylish this winter?
